Grand Chenier

The Grand Chenier Plant is located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana and straddles the Tennessee Gas Pipeline ("TGP") Grand Chenier System. Gas from the High Island Offshore System is also able to access the Plant via the TGP Deepwater Link Lateral in West Cameron Block 167.

The Plant employs a combination refrigeration/cryogenic process coupled with super fuel efficient, flexible reciprocating compression. We offer our unique DRMS and the 3 recovery modes offered at the Patterson II Plant, but Grand Chenier has an even wider recovery range (made possible by the refrigeration system upstream of the cryogenic plant). Ethane recoveries range from 2% to 80% and fuel consumption ranges from an amazing 0.2% in the dewpoint mode to 0.8% in the maximum mode.  We also offer hyper accurate PTR management as part of our bundled DRMS service. Fractionation of the Plant’s raw make is done at Lake Charles, Louisiana but product prices are based on OPIS Mt. Belvieu postings.
